Go Go GOA !!! It will be in the itinerary list of almost 99% of the friends who wish to take a trip together 🙂 The first answer for the question , “where shall we go this weekend? ” is GOA. Because it contains a lot of Vitamin SEA 😛

While I was in Mumbai , went to Goa for a weekend(Year 2014) .Friday night I took a train at 10 PM and it reached Madgoan station at 9 AM next morning .

Goa is separated into North and South. North being very famous among tourists.Its always crowded ,suitable for Night parties on the other side south Goa (Margoa) is very pleasant and relaxing environment.

From Margoa, I traveled straight to Baga Beach.It will take 2.5 hours from Madgoan to reach Baga Beach by Bus.Mine was a budget travel so used Bus.Its just 50Kms and takes 1.5 hours if traveled by Cab.[Madgoan to Margoa is a 1 km walk, where you can catch buses]

Checked in the hotel around 1 PM and started to explore right away.There are series of hotels in the area between Baga Beach and Calangute Beach.There are 2 kms away.My hotel was located between Baga and Calangute.

My first stop was Baga Beach.On the way, hired a scooty (Advance 200 INR and rent is 400 INR for 24 hours – need to handover any original ID) By then I haven’t been to any Foreign countries.So seeing huge number of foreigners and conversing with them, was a treat :p

There are water sport activities available in this Beach.After some time took the bike and traveled to Calangute. Again another over crowded beach.Spent some time there and went to Baga again for Dinner

There are a lot of restaurant with sea view , awfully lit at night with parties and DJ going on.Anyone will definitely enjoy the Night life here.

Next day i started early in the morning.Visited Anjuna Beach , Vagator Beach,Chapora Beach (All the beaches North of Baga) , Sinquerim Beach ,Central Jail, a Church and Aguada Fort.

Around 12 had my lunch at Baga again , said a good Bye , returned the Scooty , Checked out and took the bus back to Margoa at 2 PM to catch my 5 PM train.

PS: Have your license in hand always if you rent a scooty.[Cab la micham pidicha money ah Police kitte koduthachu 😦 ]
